CPD’s for Lawyers and

Registered Migration Agents

In order to maintain your registration as a Registered Migration Agent, you obtain 10 continuing professional development (CPD) points each year to stay registered as a migration agent.

If you are an immigration lawyer, the requirements differ for each State and Territory.  Crystal Migration Training & Advisory Services’ CPD activities meet requirements for each State and Territory in terms of meeting your annual CPD requirements.  If you are from Western Australia, it is strongly encouraged that you review current regulations to ensure that the activities which you enrol in meet your CPD requirements: CPD Rules and Regulations | Law Society of Western Australia (lawsocietywa.asn.au)

It is recommend you complete your CPD activities at least 8 weeks before your registration is due to expire so that you have enough points needed to lodge your re-registration application. You can submit your re-registration application with OMARA up to 8 weeks before your registration expires.  Lawyers will be able to apply for their Practicing certificates after 31 March each year.
